he’s back
My brother is back from rehab and he is a bit of a Jesus freak. What is about sobriety and dead jews? Its like choclate and peanut butter. No offense to religion, but it is a little more welcoming than I am comfortable with. You need to earn trust over time. Drugs DO destroy families.
I wish him well, I hope it lasts longer than last time...:: askdante

I know that people always find Jesus in rehab and Jail. But it always scares me when they come out because rarely is it a lasting belief its just something to hold on too until temptation strikes again..
Well if faith is what brought him out of addiction, and he has true faith, then that is a good thing.
@tembleque91 - that is what I am talking about….it is like the fake fix. They don’t learn to be clean, the learn to temporilarily re-focus their attention. It rarley works long-term.
@AlterEgo909 - agreed, but how do you tell the difference between true faith and crutch to get you through. The downside is that once people get to a certain point, they begin to feel very good about themselve and often it leads to relapse. It seesm nice at the beginning, but experience tells me that a bad road is juts around the corner. At least that is how it has been in the past. ..:: dante
@askdante - Yea, I think only time will tell how true it is. I hope for both of you that it is a long lasting force.
